Sometimes we suffer from situations like illnesses and we don’t know where to turn. Especially when your doctor tells you for the first time that this is incurable and this is one of the things that you will have to learn to live with. Your doctor then proceeds to make you comfortable with this new terrible and unbelievable information, by telling you, don't worry about it, about 80% of people has it. He further tells you that you just have to manage the situation and you will be fine. You may have left your home with the optimism of getting the solution you need from your doctor for this problem, just to be drowned with the sad revelation of what this really meant for you at the time. He then prescribes you a cream. You go to the pharmacy, buy the cream, use it and after a few days the symptoms goes away, but returns to your embarrassment and disgrace soon afterwards.

That was exactly my experience when I decided to visit a doctor to check up on this once and for all. I can remember way back at about the age of five that I first experienced HSV1 with the lesions appearing at the both corners of my mouth. I never knew what it really was until about age 30.
